We are now looking for an experienced Firmware Engineer to accelerate the development of our virtual metering technology and expand it to other residential applications. This pivotal role will be focused on the design and implementation of cutting-edge signal processing and control algorithms in embedded systems, ensuring that our measurement solutions continue to lead the industry.You will work closely with our hardware and software teams to deliver robust, efficient, and scalable firmware solutions.
Firmware Engineer
Aufgaben- Algorithm Development: Design and implement advanced digital signal processing and control algorithms for our measurement systems.
- Embedded Systems Expertise: Develop and optimize firmware for DSPs and ARM-based microcontrollers, ensuring performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- System Integration: Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate firmware into our next-generation products.
- Innovation: Translate complex signal theory into practical, high-performance firmware solutions that enhance our patented technology.
- Documentation & KPIs: Create clear technical documentation, processes, and results, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor progress and improvements.
- Validation: Drive rigorous testing and validation to guarantee accuracy, robustness, and compliance with industry standards.
- Possess an HTL, Bachelor, or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong background in digital signal processing and/or audio engineering, combined with expertise in control signal theory
- Bring 5+ years of experience in DSP and control system development for embedded platforms.
- Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with DSPs and ARM MCUs.
- Proven track record of delivering reliable, efficient, and maintainable firmware in real-world applications.
- An independent and proactive work style, with strong problem-solving skills and a sense of ownership.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in German is a plus.

We spend most of the time at our engineering facilities in Graz, but we embrace a hybrid work model with flexible home-office policies. We do prefer regular office presence for this role, as we believe it is essential for fostering effective collaboration.We offer a variety of additional benefits like subsidized public transport tickets and free lunch.
Gehalt
Das Mindestgehalt liegt bei 3.341,50 EUR brutto pro Monat (auf 38,5 Stunden Basis), das tatsächliche Gehalt ist abhängig von Qualifikation und Erfahrung. Das Gehalt wird 14-mal jährlich ausbezahlt.
