Strategic Procurement & Quality Management (all genders)

Tasks:

• Planning, managing, and developing strategic procurement
• Conducting tenders, comparing bids, and negotiating contracts
• Interacting with department heads and requesters regarding specific orders
• Taking legal considerations into account during the procurement process (Bundesvergabe Gesetz)
• Ensuring cost-effective, sustainable, and compliant procurement
• Developing a supplier base that meets CBmeds' requirements (quality first)
• Understanding and defining the requirements for an optimized supply chain
• Using BMD software for products and services
• Organizing and participating in the annual inventory

• Supplier Management
• Riskbased supplier segmentation (critical vs. noncritical suppliers)
• Defining supplier quality KPIs (e.g. delivery reliability, deviation rates)
• Communicating quality expectations clearly and in the procurement process
• Analysis and optimization of of procurementrelated processes and interfaces
• Creation, maintenance, and management of quality-related documents (SOPs)
• Support for continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and across interfaces with other departments

Skills and Abilities:

• Completed commercial or technical education (e.g. HAK, FH, UNI, HTL) or a comparable qualification gained through training or professional experience
• Several years of relevant professional experience in procurement
• Strong interest in quality management and process optimization
• A strong focus on service and customer satisfaction
• Analytical thinking, strong negotiation skills and a strong team spirit
• Excellence organisational, multitasking and problem-solving skills
• Experience with CRM tools, preferably BMD (particularly in inventory management)
• Fluent in German and English
• Proficiency in using MS Office 365 and web conferencing tools
