Senior Accountant (f/m/d) for Great Britain (UK)

Workplace: Vienna

With your strong accounting knowledge, you will be a key member of the finance team. You will be responsible for all day-to-day accounting activities and for preparing financial reports to meet the needs of our British affiliate.

Your tasks:

• Carry out accounts payable and general ledger accounting
• Preparation and compilation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as well as cost plans in cooperation with the local tax advisor
• Reconciliation of accounts, accruals, and provisions
• Management of fixed asset accounting
• Preparation of advance turnover tax returns
• Management and reimbursement of travel expenses
• Prepare all payments in time and manage banking activities
• Prepare internal financial reports for Head Office to meet reporting deadlines
• Administrative tasks in personnel administration for employers' liability insurance association, health insurance funds, pension funds and authorities
• Reciprocal substitution with the Austrian accountant

Your profile:

• Degree in Finance Accounting
• Minimum three years' experience as an accountant in an international environment
• Knowledge of SAP (S4 Hana) would be preferred
• Knowledge in the UK GAAP would be an advantage
• Advanced knowledge of Excel
• Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written), German knowledge would be an advantage
• Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Independent, self-reliant, and structured way of working
• The position holder has frequent contact with the UK affiliate, which may require travelling

Compensation:

We offer an attractive salary comprised between EUR 55.000, - and EUR 70.000, - gross per year for this position, based on your qualifications and experience.
