We are a dynamic, international pharmaceutical company looking for a motivated Procurement Manager to strengthen our team. In this role, you will lead our procurement function, drive strategic sourcing initiatives, and ensure a reliable supply of our products.

Your Responsibilities- Leadership Skills
- Lead the Procurement team, ensuring smooth operations and clear communication.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear goals, delegate effectively, and provide guidance and feedback.
- Supplier & Partner Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new manufacturing partners.
- Represent the company professionally in supplier search, negotiations, and partnership building, ensuring reliability, quality, and adherence to agreed timelines.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and ensure supplier commitment.
- Frquently travel to manufacturers and suppliers, to build partnerships face-to-face and oversee operations directly on-site.
- Manage supplier evaluations, performance reviews, and complaint resolution.
- Supply Chain Operations
- Bridge the gap between strategic supply chain management (planning, forecasting) and operational procurement, ensuring alignment and coordination within your team.
- Establish, monitor, and improve procurement processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with regulatory, logistics, finance, and marketing teams to align procurement with business needs.
- Monitor KPIs, prepare regular management reports, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Bachelor- or Masterdegree.
- Several years of work experience in a competitive business environment i.e. procurement, supply chain, sales.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG sector strongly preferred.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills: you know how to win people over and build trust.
- Proactive mindset: you take initiative, anticipate challenges, and deliver solutions.
- Strong negotiation skills and confidence in representing the company externally.
- Hands-on attitude with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, international environment.
- Fluent in English, German is an asset.
- Valid driving license and travel documents.
