Group Controller with HR Focus (f/m/d)
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Group Controller (f/m/d) (full-time) to join our Group Controlling team. This role specializes in HR Controlling and provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and data management within a dynamic corporate environment.
Your tasks
Planning:
- Oversee the preparation of budgets and forecasts, coordinating planning efforts and collecting business inputs for P&L, balance sheets, and KPIs
- Conduct thorough reviews to ensure data completeness and plausibility
Month/Year-end Reporting:
- Focus on HR-related reporting, including:
- Monthly data gathering and updating of data cubes
- HC development reports preparation for the board
- Supporting bonus accrual processes
- Calculating and analyzing overtime hours
Ad hoc Reporting in HR area:
- Deliver comprehensive ad hoc HR reports to various stakeholders as requested
- Analyze these reports to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes
Mergers and Acquisitions:
- Manage the HR process setup for newly acquired companies, including:
- Integrating payroll for actuals
- Mapping accounts accurately
- Coordinating the planning and budgeting process
Business Cases & Projects:
- Support the development of new business cases within your assigned business unit
- Represent Group Controlling in HR projects in collaboration with the HR department, ensuring financial perspectives are integrated into HR initiatives
Process Optimization & Automation:
- Analyze group-wide controlling processes to identify opportunities for improvement
- Develop and implement optimization measures
- Automate existing processes in Group Controlling by enhancing current tools and systems
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in HR controlling or as a Financial Controller
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office
- Experience working with Business Central, Infor or Power BI is advantageous, but not mandatory
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Flexibility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
- Strong team collaboration skills
- English fluently, German is a plus
