For our location in Vienna, Austria we are looking for a highly motivated team player to join our Human Resources department on a 1,5-years maternity cover as
HR Business Partner (f/m/d)Full-time, fixed-term contract (1.5 years)
As a trusted HR advisor to both managers and employees, you will ensure smooth HR operations, act as a liaison with external HR service providers, and help drive HR initiatives that support both employees and the business within an international scope in the EMEA Region.
Your responsibilities:
- Advise management on all HR-related topics, including performance management, employee relations, change management, and organizational development.
- Partner with leaders to support recruitment, onboarding, and Talent Management.
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, help resolve conflicts and support a positive company culture.
- Lead and support performance management processes that align employees with company objectives and growth.
- Actively contribute to HR projects that foster employee engagement, career development, and continuous improvement.
- Build HR data to provide actionable insights and guide business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and current labor legislation in the different supported countries.
- Coordinate and prepare the monthly payroll for Austria and Germany in close collaboration with the external payroll providers.
- Provide ad-hoc support for payroll-related topics in other CEE countries.
- Act as the main contact for the company pension scheme for Austria and Germany; coordinate and communicate the changes between the external provider and employees
- Independent preparation of administrative HR documents such as employment contracts, contract amendments, reference letters, and other personnel-related documentation.
- Maintain and update employee data in various HR systems.
Your profile:
- University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or similar education.
- Minimum 5 years' experience as HRBP in an international corporate environment, including both operational HR administration and strategic HR partnering.
- Strong knowledge of Austrian labor law and payroll processes.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
- Organized and proactive: you thrive when managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Passion for people and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
- Hands-on mentality, problem-solving skills, independent way of working.
- Business acumen, strategic thinking, and intercultural awareness.
- Excellent communication skills in German and English, both written and spoken.
- Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel) and ability to work with HR Information systems.

In accordance with Austrian legal requirements, we disclose the minimum salary for this position: EUR 60.000, - gross per year (full-time basis). Actual compensation will be determined based on your qualifications and experience.
