CES clean energy solutions (CES) is a leading provider of premium consulting and engineering services in the field of sustainability, resource efficiency and renewable energy for private & public institutions, international financial institutions and donor agencies in both developing and transition countries with its head office in Vienna and branches in Ukraine and Bulgaria.
For the further expansion of our international activities, CES is looking to recruit a Consultant for Business Development for our Vienna head office, explicitly focusing on international projects in Eastern Europe, Asia & Central Asia.
Job Overview- Identify and investigate new business opportunities in the fields of resource efficiency, energy, circular economy and green finance
- Expand our expert network, identify and recruit potential partners for potential projects
- Establish and deepen our partnerships with clients
- Maintain our relationships to existing and potential partners
- Develop and prepare proposals in response to international consulting assignments
- Prepare and calculate competitive consulting offers
- Support and further improve our internal business development processes
- Assist in project monitoring and reportingy
- You have a relevant university degree in international relation or environmental science
- At least 3 years working experience with international financing institutions, working on international donor financed projects
- You have earned experience of working in the field of sustainability, circular economy or climate risk assessments
- Preferably Working experience gained in consulting business
- Knowledge of IFI (EBRD, KFW, EIB, WB, ADB) procurement procedures and proven track record of successful project proposals for IFI tenders
- You have experience in international projects in the energy and/or resource efficiency sector
- Excellent English verbal and written communication and drafting skills
- Established contacts and networks with potential partners and experts would be an asset
- Excellent knowledge of English, other language skills like German, French, Russian, Ukrainian would be an asset
