Risk and Controls Manager (m/f/d)
As Risk and Controls Manager at IMS, you are responsible for conducting the enterprise-wide processes for risk management. The R&C manager collaborates with domain experts and senior department managers to assess risks and effectiveness of controls, and to develop and program-manage the roadmap for improving controls infrastructure.
Two initial focus areas of this work are the reinforcement of our process management foundation and the introduction of industry standards frameworks for risk management.
Your Responsibilities:
• Establish and lead the annual risk management cycle, consisting of:
• Identification and systematic assessment of risks, using industry standard methodology, e.g., COSO ERM or ISO 31000
• Assessment of controls maturity and development of a prioritized roadmap for improving controls infrastructure maturity
• Monitoring and documenting controls excursions, and conducting audits
• Oversee ethics & compliance training and controls improvement campaigns
• Prepare the annual Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) report, in collaboration with the company's executive leadership team
Your Qualification:
• MS or equivalent degree in an engineering discipline or comparable
• At least 10 years' total experience in the industry covering functions as project lead, program management and people management functions
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in leading risk management activities in an industrial environment, preferably with application of COSO ERM or ISO 31000 standards frameworks
• Practical experience with process management and driving compliance in service of safety, quality, efficiency, information security, o legal compliance objectives.
• Ability to work with stakeholders across the management hierarchy, from employees on shop floor to senior executives
