Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs Leader

• In this role, you will control and manage regulatory strategies for the global product safety and regulatory process to deliver a competitive and safe target product profile.
• You will lead and develop the product safety & regulatory affairs team, having overall accountability for their performance.
• You will establish regulatory and product safety priorities or budgets and allocate resources and workloads to cross-functional partners and customers at global, regional, and local levels.
• You will manage the certification portfolio and new certification requests to demonstrate the safety and compliance of Lenzing fibers for their use in appropriate areas.
• You will interact with national and international agencies, external certification bodies and associations (e.g., EDANA working groups, FSC, PEFC, FKT, etc)
• You will control the development, maintenance and dissemination of high-quality documents for product safety and regulatory compliance.

• You have an advanced degree in natural/technical sciences - ideally in chemistry, biology or related field. with a strong background in regulatory affairs and product safety.
• You have exceptional knowledge of global legislations, regulations, standards and norms applicable to cellulosic fibers and products, with respect to product, process and environmental safety.
• You bring extensive experience in business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and coordination of people and resources.
• You proactively monitor industry developments, specifically in relation to textile and nonwoven fibers and components.
• You have exceptional personal skills for building internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• You have minimum C2 English skills - German, Bahasa Indonesian and/or Chinese would be a plus.
