You will work closely with development and QA teams to streamline the issue resolution process and contribute to the overall quality assurance efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and triage reported issues.
• Execute test plans to validate software functionality and identify defects.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Analyze logs, network data, and system dumps to diagnose problems.
• Participate in release validation and monitoring.
• Apply scripting for automation to improve triage and testing processes.
• Perform in-depth debugging using tools like valgrind, gdb, tracetool, and RDKB loggers.
• Analyse system logs and crash dumps to identify root causes .
• Reproduce and isolate issues in lab environments using routers and test setups.
• Document triage workflows, known issues, and resolutions for knowledge sharing.

Must Haves:

• Strong proficiency in Linux system internals, shell scripting, and debugging.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, etc.).
• Experience with router firmware and RDK-B architecture.
• Hands-on with gdb, tracetool, and RDKB logging frameworks.
• Expertise in Wi-Fi technologies (802.11ac/ax, DFS, band steering, mesh)..
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Git, JIRA and Agile methodologies.

Nice to Haves:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience with GPON, DOCSIS WAN Technologies.
• Familiarity with Yocto, OpenWRT, or other embedded Linux build systems
