Head of Group Accounting (m/f)

You will work closely with the CFO and apply your strong IT and process expertise to standardize, optimize, and further digitalize financial processes.

Your responsibilities:

• Management of group accounting
• Timely preparation of annual financial statements according to UGB and monthly reports
• Close coordination with international subsidiaries and ensuring uniform standards
• Maintenance of transfer pricing documentation and support in tax-related matters
• Independent preparation of consolidated financial statements
• ESG reporting
• Support of the CFO in strategic projects and ad-hoc requests

Requirements

Your qualifications:

• Degree in accounting/finance or equivalent education
• Several years of professional experience in a similar role, ideally in an international corporate environment
• In-depth knowledge of UGB accounting; experience in group consolidation
• Strong IT affinity; experience with Microsoft D365 and Power BI is an advantage
• Ideally, experience with consolidation software (e.g. Cognos)
• Hands-on mentality and entrepreneurial thinking

Important Note: The corporate language is German. Therefore, professional proficiency in German, both written and spoken, is required.
