• Contribute scientific expertise from ongoing R&D projects in close collaboration with the project management team
• Translate project requirements into structured lab tasks
• Develop and optimize functional coatings for paper, with a strong focus on food contact applications
• Plan, conduct, monitor and evaluate experimental work from lab scale to piloting
• Perform literature and patent research on raw materials and technologies
• Evaluate & test new raw materials and technologies with regards to functionality, sustainability, and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with external suppliers to identify and integrate new ingredients into the portfolio

• University degree (BSc or MSc) in (Polymer) Chemistry, Materials Science, Paper Technology, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in industrial R&D
• A proactive, results-driven mindset with strong collaboration skills and and organized way of working
• Fluency in English, German skills are an advantage
