NovaTaste is a leading international provider of taste and functional solutions for the food sector, providing a range of value-add savoury ingredients and blends, most notably under the Wiberg and Piasa brands. Tailored solutions are used mainly by food manufacturers and food service players to improve texture and taste, as well as extend the shelf life of their savoury products.
The customer base is served by a global operational footprint of 17 plants in 10 countries, with 9 innovation sites and approximately 1,800 employees. The main sites are located in Germany, Austria, Mexico and Canada, with the Headquarter being in Austria (Salzburg).

Key Responsibilities/Tasks

Implementation of the global compensation strategy including roll-out in the individual countries to support the local HR managers.

Execution of the general compensation processes: job evaluations, salary increases, workforce planning, bonus, etc.

Reviewing/updating existing salary structures based on market analyses to ensure competitiveness.
Performing of ongoing data & cost effect analysis on short- and long-term incentives as well as development proposals.
Ensuring of compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
Coordinating with HR colleagues in different countries regarding compensation review process, data validation, process improvement, off-cycle requests, etc.
Evaluation and improvement of current reward programs to make sure that those align with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Collaboration with HR colleagues and finance to develop and communicate compensation & benefits policies and programs to employees.
Management of employee benefit programs such as health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other where necessary.

Skills

University degree in economics or HR management and/or 5+ years of professional experience in compensation, HR or finance/controlling
Proficiency in analyzing performance metrics for incentive payouts
Proficiency in Excel and compensation analysis software/SAP
Knowledge of rolling out global job leveling/banding
Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives as they relate to rewards programs
Proven experience in managing comprehensive benefits programs
Knowledge of retirement plan management and pension schemes
History of maintaining compliance with compensation and benefits laws and regulations
Fluent English. Good level of German is an asset.

The position is primarily intended to be full-time - however, an adjustment to at least 30 hours per week can be considered.The minimum salary for this position is € 3,500.00 gross per month on a full-time basis (38.5 hours). A significant overpayment in line with your qualifications and experience is a matter of course for us.
