You will define detailed IT Applications / IT Infrastructure / Data Management -solutions or Data guidelines and procedures as well as requirements and solutions, verify solutions in a Proof-of-concept environment and support the IT Architect designing the solution.
You will also be responsible for guidance on implementations, respective rollouts, solution testing and customization.Your ResponsibilitiesDefine detailed IT Applications / IT Infrastructure / Data Management -solutions or Data guidelines and procedures as well as requirements and solutions in the field of AES.Verify solutions in a Proof-of-concept environment and support the IT Architect designing the solution.Build or customize solutions including testing and rollout/implementation in compliance with the change processCoordinate the required concepts to ensure go-live and to hand-over solution to IT operationsDefine required operational and process documentationYour ProfileDegree in Computer Science, Software engineering, Automation, Electrical & Electronics Engineering (from a University or other higher education institutes) or minimum of 5 years professional IT experience (in this area) in an international corporate companyAtleast 3 years working experience as Equipment Integration Specialist or equivalentExcellent knowledge and experience with communication protocols such as SECS/GEM, OPC UA/DA, MQTTExcellent knowledge and experience in integrating manufacturing equipment to host systems such as MES or SCADAExperience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), as well as .NET, TypeScript, Node.JS, JavaScript, C#Experience with implementing Industry 4.0 / IoT based projectsExperience working with databases such as Microsoft SQLExcellent inter personal skills to work effectively with our internal customer Manufacturing, Engineering and Equipment teamsSupport the Automation full test/validations for major system upgrades or releases of new AES (Automation Execution System) functionsDevelop and implement new manufacturing equipment integrations using Industry 4.0 / IoT based Software solutions.Analyse equipment behaviour and work independently on complex requirements, specifications, and implementationsCoordinate with internal customers and external equipment vendorsDocument and plan equipment integration software solution projectsMaintain and further develop existing equipment integration software solutions based on industry standards as SECS/GEM, OPC, MQTTExperience with Test-Driven development methodologyKnowledge of Process Management and Service Management Customize, develop, and test Automation functionalitiesSupport the development of MES and Automation SystemContinuous improvement of existing equipment integration software solutionsBasic Project Management Skills would be good to haveExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong customer orientation and vendor interactionIntercultural awareness and strong interpersonal and communication skills Analytical thinking and problem resolution skills as well as organizational talentOur OfferOpportunities for long-term growth in an internationally expanding environmentAttractive and competitive compensation packagesFlexibility enabled by cutting-edge technology and the option for hybrid remote work, including home office or shared office in GrazChance to actively contribute to AT&S´ success and to create valueA structured and tailor-made onboarding program along with continual training opportunitiesCompany canteen serving freshly prepared meals dailyParking and electric vehicle charging stations availableHealth measures, including access to a company doctor, complimentary check-ups, and vaccination campaignsReady for a new challenge to advance your career?
