About the Brain Health Mission
The Brain Health Mission (BHM), an initiative of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN), is seeking a Programme & Partnerships Assistant to support its growing portfolio of activities. The BHM focuses on improving brain health across Europe through education, policy, and public engagement.

The Role
We are looking for a proactive, creative, and highly organised team player to expand and coordinate key initiatives:
- Brain Health School Challenge: Support participating countries and onboard new ones--build long-term partnerships, ensure consistency, and foster a sense of community among national organisers.
- European Capital of Brain Health project: Support strategy, communications, and stakeholder engagement for this initiative
- Partnership engagement and project coordination: Support the wider BHM strategy by maintaining strong relationships stakeholders
You will work closely with BHM leadership and external partners to ensure high-quality delivery and maximum impact.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage ongoing projects, especially the Brain Health School Challenge and the European Capital of Brain Health initiative
- Onboard and support country partners; foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across regions
- Develop communication materials and campaign content with the BHM communications team
- Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Organising and staffing the BHM booth and activities at EAN's Annual Congress
- Assisting with EAN communications as needed
Who We're Looking For
You are a strong organiser, natural communicator, and relationship builder with:
- Strong project management and organisational skills--you can manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and keep things on track
- Excellent interpersonal and conversational skills--you enjoy working with people, building trust, and motivating others
- A marketing mindset--you know how to package ideas, promote projects, and tailor messaging for different audiences
- A strategic and creative approach to programme development
- A genuine interest in brain health, science communication, or public health
- A completed training or degree (Matura HAK/HBLA/HLW)
- Minimum 2 years' relevant experience
- Fluent in English; additional languages a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with project management tools is a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe

Salary: Minimum EUR 2,300 gross/month (14x per year), based on 40 hours/week. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
